Threads like this are like a tug of war. Everyone has to let go at the same time or someone is gonna get hurt. There is an inherent problem with saying, essentially, "You unspecified people are stupid. Shut up." Because when you say that, everyone is going to think you're talking about them, and then will post another response in reaction, etc., etc. forever.

It's like the opposite of a circle jerk - everyone is sitting around furiously masturbating, but everyone wants to be the last person to shoot their load of ranty goodness all over the monitor. Everyone wants the last word.

Including me.

I'm pretty sure I have. I apologized both on here and in private to Erin way earlier in the thread. The only things I've posted since then have been opinions on early industrial music and an attempt to moderate a disagreement between Ophelia and Junkie Christ, two people I don't know well but respect.

I would personally like you to stop this reincarnation of jesus christ stuff.

If several people would stop their "reincarnation of Satan" schtick, I'd drop my Jesus schtick. Gotta have balance, ya know. Like a yin-yang. Or the Force.

Haha, how about I prove you wrong on that one. Just pick something off of Caustic Grip (circa 1992) and Flavour of the Weak (circa 1998). There are very few similarities in the two albums.
