NINE INCH NAILS - [WITH_TEETH]

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

sat june 4th i'm playing a fest in tn
you can come by and tell me what you think of me in person if you want

maybe you should have done it in atlanta

i never said i wasn't a "dickwad"
and i'm not here to try and impress anyone

excuse me if i know what i'm talking about

for the record PHM is dated 1989 not 88
so that's another fact jack got wrong in his retort

i can't help it if the people trying to argue with me don't bother to read my whole post
or
even bother to check their facts

if you go back and re-read my post about nin
i didn't say that anything i was talking about was a bad thing

all i said was he's not some sort of god
or even
innovative
i'd rather be your enemy than hear you call me friend

That's funny, I thought I was going for the "amusing comment to a friend of mine" act.

Oh Hell, not the "when was Pretty Hate Machine released" argument again.

It was released in December of 1988. It was unsure whether it would be ready to be shipped until 1989, though, so the liner notes do in fact say 1989.

And recluse
I do
think
you're trying
to be cool

But you do come off
as someone

lodged in
their ass.

Being negative about almost every goddamn topic comes up does not impress and does not make you look smarter than anyone else. It makes you look like you are trying soo hard to be cool.
Nobody likes that shit.
Everyone on here is entitled to an opinion, but "calling people out" on "how they got schooled" and shit like that only makes you look like a dickwad

i'm not trying to be anything
i am what i am

and i say
considering my position in the world vs. yours
i have a little more edge on the conversation
love it or hate it
that's how it is

accept it and move on

and that invite for zeo
is open to anyone else that wants to discuss anything in person with me
i'm more than willing to meet any of you and talk about it

if you need the location of the event
or even where i'll be that weekend
feel free to email me off list
travis at ncc-records dot com

what it sounds like to me is a few people around here have some social or emotional issues and can't deal with someone taking a strong educated counter point to the subject of popular discussion

i don't allways make negative comments on every thread
i've made just as many neutral or positive comments on this board
prehaps all your reading are the negative ones

in fact my opinons about trent reznor that i expressed in this thread were pretty neutral

and furthermore
who cares

i don't like nin
what are gonna do fuckin cry about it

grow up
i'd rather be your enemy than hear you call me friend

Dude I really have no interest in discussing anything with you in person at this point. I simply made a statement. Talking trash to people who you don't know on here doesn't exactly make you any friends. It makes you seem to be dickish.

Thing is most of us who post on this forum live in or near Knoxpatch know each other on some personal level, and are going to back each other up if you start talking smack like "hang it up" to Jack You obviously don't know what you are talking about. You are miserably failing at your attempt to belittle people. Do you think you are better than us because you live in Atl and have a band/record label? Kudos to you for both. I do think you defiantly could work on your PR skills if you want to make it anywhere though.
As far as the "social or emotional issues" comment, I think anyone can tell you I am one of the most happy go lucky guys you'll ever meet. A total hedonist. I like to have fun with my friends and have a rather extensive social circle. As do junkie and jack. We all know each other and we are all party hard together.

We all have each other's backs when there is an outside attack of someone talkin' smack trying to gain attention.
Negative attention that is.
Ya feed on it, ya love it ya know you do.
Have a coke and a smile. :D

I don't think you have any knowledge of me or my "position in the world". And even if you did I have no idea what you're talking about. Having a band or record label or whatever you have does not necessarily mean you know more about music.

Otherwise, see Jake's post, he summed it up better than I have the patience to.

Stop being a richard head.

How did this thread end up talking about grunge music? Well, I would just like to state that I love both Nirvana and Mudhoney. I personally think that they sound nothing alike. As far as favorite albums by each band, Piece of Cake is my favorite Mudhoney album. It's one of the few albums I have that I don't skip by the filler short tracks. I don't know why, but I love that cd alot. My favorite Nirvana album would probably have to be In Utero. Some of the lyrics on that album are really great. "Look on the bright side, suicide." "I miss the comfort in being sad" "I tried hard to have a father, but instead I have a dad." Man, now I'm going to have to break out all my grunge stuff. :D

The only Mudhoney album I like is Superfuzz Bigmuff. Unfortunately, Sonic Youth's cover of "Touch Me I'm Sick" outdoes the original so thoroughly that it's ruined for me now.
