Gearheads, Car People, Bikers, and wrench spinners read this

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Do you want the gearhead forum?

Anyone interested in helping me with some cut and weld work? I've got the metal. all I need is someone with the tools to do it. Time and tool usage will be funded in beer and cash. I need the floor pans replaced, some longitudinal patchwork and reenforcment, and several other rot spots that need to be done right.

I got a working design for a t-shirt.... It'll be available on CafePress.com when it's done...

http://www.cafeshops.com/knoxgothic

It's a preliminary design... I may want it to be larger.. let me know.. It's currently a good size for gurlz shirts...

Also, I've got a working design for small decals for your vehicles as well... They will be about 1/2" high, and 6" long... Vinyl decals... Same as all current car-clubs use... Black and gun-metal.. If anyone wants other colors, let me know...

You don't have to affiliate with KG to do this, or to talk about it on KG. It'll free up your logo design options to name it something else anyway.

No, you don't have to ask, I suppose. But, you will feel the wrath of the three. And we all want to kiss their asses, you know. Anyway, let's end this tangent and get back to cars....my cue to leave.

Wow, Even the car chat can't be without drama! Everything was cooking along and a good idea was sprung, only to be shot down (although not officially) by board politics. I say anyone willing to put Knoxogthic on something out of their own pocket is free advertisement. At least we didn't ask for knoxgothic to sponsor our vehicles. If they did want to shoot a little cash my way to fund my car I'd paint Knoxgothic.com as big as I could on all sides plus wear the T-shirt and when I got out of the car I slap on my knoxgothic cap just incase someone was looking. Who needs to grace this idea before it can be put into action?

I just want an automobile forum. The corvette forum is nice, but the drama there is WAY worse than it is here, and they only talk about Vettes.

A race team is WAY too much liabillity, WAY TOO MUCH. But if someone on the board had a race car and some KG people wanted to come help that'd be great. And if that race car had some KG stickers and what not on it for advertising that the driver bought from the KG or made themselves I don't see how that could be bad.

I just want to talk abotu cars.

Hmm..
Well you ppl mostly missed the whole *idea*.. SOME of us are active in the world of motorsport competition, and no, not street racing.. Everything from pylon racing, to vintage motorbikes, to SCCA rally-cross... Point was, support your "GothRacers" and show some love for the KG at the same time... I'm surprised by the response from supposed *car-people*.. Sheesh! That's all I'm gonna say about it from here on...

I'm just speaking from experience that if the name "KnoxGothic.com" is on something, Jason, Andrew, and Jonathan will want to be included. You're getting really bent out of shape over nothing. They will probably be okay with it...if they are asked first. Chill out.
