But don't they get along sometimes? I mean it's like every week we have to pick someone knew to either hate or laugh at their misfortunes...and every single group within the scene is responsiable...no one is excluded. I think it's safe to admit that we all have our little group of friends...even if we mingle outside of it. It's almost a scene that is revolved around the drama. Even people who never go out still are involved with all of the gossip...OOPS! I meant drama.

I whole heartedly DIASAGREE with this.

Yes, there are some people that have to feel that their lives have meaning, or that they just exist and aren't invisible. To get that feeling they have to start some new rumor, fuck someone's boyfriend/girlfriend, or run crying in their best Drama Club fashion out of whatever club they are in.

But, everyone is not responsible for this type of behavior. There are a lot of good people here that avoid drama mongers like the plague.

after checking with the ballroom management, ralph was told he could not go to blue cats while he was on the clock at the ballroom
he had freedom to go before or after his shift or on his days off, but was not supposed to leave the ballroom while he was on the clock

I think everyone knows my position that Knoxville's goth scene has more drama per capita than any other town I've been in.

There is drama at the workplace...every single place I've ever worked and any other place anyone I know has worked.

There is drama in every "scene" in Knoxville.

There is drama in every "scene" anywhere in the world.

My family has its own drama.

My grandma has some drama.

All my friends have the occasional drama.

All my co workers have occasional drama.

I knew you were going to say that. Thats why I said that situations where I'm not involved with, like other people at their workplaces and my grandmothers, etc...I'm not involved.


Perhaps teenage goths are overdramatic...but I don't really think this group of people is anymore dramatic than any other group I've ever seen. I wouldn't describe you as goth, but you seem pretty dramatic...the only time we ever here from you is when you come in two throw in your two cents to rile people up. I mean, as far as the jokes like "hand: staple: forehead" I have never met anyone like that. People that are like that fall into the category of nutcases before goths. Plenty of people around here are functioning members of society...

OK. I have. This is stupid. We're both giving anecdotal evidence, so please stop being an idiot and acting like either one of us can be "right". Your experience is that goths are not particularly dramatic. My experience is that they are. We're both right. And wrong.

Er. Like you voicing your "darker" opinions of my personality instead of the "lighter" ones? Interesting. By your own logic, then, are you one of those who see the darker side of things?

I think I would say I voice observations regardless of whether they're good or bad. For example, if someone said "Goths in Knoxville aren't friendly", I would be the first to say "Actually, many of them are very friendly and easygoing".

A) I suck at debating and rather dislike it.

B) I don't really care enough about the topic to put a lot of forethought into what I'm saying.

C) I rather suck at logic sometimes...and this conversation is already getting more complicated than I'd like about something I don't feel terribly strongly about.

D) Yes, I tend to be very negative or dark in my thoughts, which I don't always like but its just me...and I tend to tell people what I think without thinking about it. That brings me drama sometimes...since I don't wish to mold my behavior to suit them, I just try to stay away from people who I may say something to about whatever parts of them I dislike. I stay here because a lot of my friends are here. People I've known for 10 years or so in some cases....certainly not to rile people up and argue.

E) I just think this group gets more shit than they deserve considering "drama"...its about as annoying to me as incessant bashing of emo kids.

i just think its funny when people user darker as a response.
liking a style of music or dress doesnt make you "darker".
most people in this town (thats all scenes) wouldnt be able to recognize a real evil thought if it bit them in the ass while jerking them off.
the most "talk about it", "blog about it" ect town ive ever been to and damn near no action

thats why you got drama.
a bunch of people that talk instead of do.
