Poutine.

Its a Canadian thing.....basically fries covered in cheese curds and gravy. Good god, it rocks. I just wish I could get it down here.

On occasion I have cravings for canned condensed milk...the really sweet stuff normal people use for baking, I like to sit and eat by the spoonful.

Canned mandarin orange wedges.

Roti-something that I can only get back home (I have tried it from an Indian restaurant here, it was crap)

ox-tail stew....yummm and any stew from back home with macaroni pie

oh and definitely not forgetting souse (pig ear in vinegar cucumber salad) crunchy but tasty

i have to disagree. beef doesn't taste like chicken. neither does any seafood i've had, thus far.

i hear that human flesh tastes vaguely like pork - so there are two reasons why i won't try cannibalism, now.

Much like frog legs, rattlesnake tastes like chicken - only sweeter. haven't tried any other kinds of snake...

True, I should have clarified with anything out of the ordinary.

I'll admit, I've always been curious about what human tastes like....oh well, some mysteries are probably best left unexplored.

i've always had an unbridled hatred for kermit, and thus i really like frog legs.

I love food. I love all kinds of food! I love:

olives-any kind
fish-esp. salmon, talapia, good sardines, kippered herring
chocolate milk shakes with a grilled cheese sandwich and dill pickles
tortilla chips- I can eat them by the bag
fresh pineapple

The really cruel thing is when you crave something you can't get here. One of my best friends is from Cincinatti. When I went to visit with her I had a Gold Star Coney, and every once in awhile I get an evil craving for one. Also my father grew up in a mostly Portuguese neighborhood, and when we'd go up north to visit we'd have this sausage called Cerise. It is red and spicey and you can't get it around here.
