Song Requests for Sanctus Sunday Jan 16th

If it's not covered by one of those other categories, you should probably talk about it here. Be nice.

Seeing as how this will be my last Sanctus for a while (Evlin will take my attention very soon), I'd like to hear....

See Colin Slash - Hardcore!

Come one, come all, to the Sir Diddimus pre-birth Sanctus.... The last before the big day! YAY!!!

The Killers, either "Mr. Brightside" or "Somebody Told Me". Yes, I'm serious. Best two retro-80s Smiths-meets-Flock of Seagulls songs of the year.

For the first time in a very long time, we will have no midgets and will possibly be able to come to Sanctus. Could someone play "Obey the Cow God", pretty please? :D
I'm Jewish. I don't work out. If god had wanted us to bend over, she would have put diamonds on the floor.

isn't that some old school techno song that spun from the secret cow level in Diablo 2?

I hate that saying: "You can't have your cake and eat it too."

Because what's the point of having cake when you aren't able to savour and enjoy every tastey morsel it has to offer you.....

[random drum rant]
Their drummer plays Ludwigs so he automatically scores some points in my coolness book. It seems like everyone plays DWs now, and I hate DWs [/random drum rant]

*Underground Lyrics

I was never cool in school
I'm sure you don't remember me

and now its been ten years
and I'm still wondering who to be

and I'd love to mix in circles
cliques and social coteries, thats me

hand me my nose ring
(can we be happy?)
show me the mosh pit
(can we be happy?)

we can be happy underground

(who's got the looks
who's got the brains
who's got everything?)

I got this pain in my heart thats all

(hey you
with the long and lonely face)

there's got to be something else

let me tell you something else
there was a girl that passed me by
she gave a smile but I was shy and I looked down, so down

(don't look down no no,
go go underground)
now, now there's a place to go

it's the morning now
it's the evening
it's everything
I click my heels
and I'm there

(underground
underground
oooooooooo)

everything's heavy underground
(underground)
you been kicked around
(underground)
did my friend go down here?
(oooooooo)
everything's heavy underground

we'll be decked in all black
slamming the pit, fantastic
Officer Friendly's little boy's
got a mohawk
and he knows just just where coming from
(it's industrial
work it underground)

get down (yeah)
get down (yeah)
get down yeah

(underground
underground
oooooooooo)

everything's heavy underground
(underground)
you been kicked around
(underground)
did my friend go down here?
(oooooooo)
everything's heavy underground

we can be happy
we can be happy
we can be happy underground

(we can we can we can be)
everythings heavy!

(underground)
you been kicked around
(underground)
did my friend go down here?
(oooooooo)
everything's heavy underground

OK, you know this thread is a joke for several reasons.

1. the songs you request aren't going to be played because they'll be replaced by : stray cats, timewarp, brickhouse, snake riiver, mr. lovegrove, personal jesus. or any other set let yuo know by goddanmed heart if you think about it.

2. the DJ's don't know what to play, evidenced by having to ask what to play.

3. DJ's probably don't have time to keep up with current music-which is understandable. Some of us have lives.

4. DJ's might not have the songs you want to hear. Which is why you'll hear that whack 'this is halloween'/ ich bin ein auslander mix,
white zomibe, or any of the same hot garbage you know is coming.

thank you,and goodnight.
