as much as people say NO MORE SKINNY PUPPY i think they say that because they think its trendy to say. i rarely hear it. tin omen or emtpE would just be fucking wonderful to hear. everynow and then you hear some good skinny puppy, usually thanks to zeo

ministry people, PLAY SONGS OF LAND OF RAPE AND HONEY, NOT P-69. that is all.

joy division didnt record a bad damned song, but for some damned reason love will tear us apart is all i hear. I HATE THAT! PLAY ISOLATION OR DEAD SOULS OR ANYTHING! CHRIST!

kmfdm should not be so damned taboo. they have alot of really dancable songs. alot. dj's go fucking find one. if you look your guaranteed to find about 20. really.

while juno reactor has some good songs, they have alot of crap. being underground is a nice way of saying "most of my career spent in mothers basement", i say that to say this: they have alot of really fucking good shit if you look. its worth the time on Kazaa people. really.

Sisters of mercy. almost every song really danceable. not just the 3 songs that always get played. ive seen people dance to 1959 for christssake. people love that band, i love that band, PICK OTHER SONGS. no time to cry maybe? ANYDAMN THING!

the song Rev 20:20 or whatyever it was off the underworld soundtrack rarely got played and was the gothiest song to come out that year. just because the guy from tool is on it doesnt mean you cant play it DJ's. really.

play shit thats not just a goth band. shake senora is a PRIME EXAMPLE. nick cave remixes got mentioned, no fucking shit man stuff like that! look at some of karla's last play list to see what i mean. jay has been up on this too. but i do reccomemend to NOT just play the odd dancables. dont alienate too many people ya know?

take a tip from X and slip some 80s punk in there that lasts like 2 minutes and everyone in the room knows every set or two just to see a good crowd reaction.

all the dj's on the whole do a good job, some do a great job. and lately the dj's have been evading the typical play list. which is good. but dont leave the goth completely out yet... hehe. dont overkill it either. everyone just find your ultimate happy medium that keeps everyone dancing or bobbing their head or enjoying themselves. so far your all doing a good job, just trying to help with that sweeet perfect playlist.hope this helps.

I like Type O Negative. I don't think you speak for everyone. Listen to the words in their music and check out their albums. They are Goth Metal band. I think that OutKast is Trendy. But I don't care if they play it an Sanctus. I just won't dance to it. I think people should just have fun and have a chance to listen to their requests.

i think the idea of NEVER play this or NEVER play that is not necessarily a good one. if you dont like it dont dance to it, worst case senario: it will be over in 3 to 6 minutes - i think the key is just keep the variety knob turned to 11
