Um...Alcohol is worse...Difference is...Some people can drink...Without getting drunk...Or getting a buzz, even...Not many smoke pot, without having the plan of getting high...And let's see...Some alcohol tastes good...Pot...Taste like stale menthol cigarettes...Let me make this important decision...lol...

Some alcohol is really good.
I like stale menthol coffin nails.
I self medicate as needed.

By law just because you don't feel drunk...doesn't mean that you aren't...also...The majority of people don't realize when they are drunk...thewy always think they are working on a "buzz" and then it hits them at once...And also...what about smoking is it not the same as drugs with just a prolonged effect? Hell at least with drugs one gets a feeling of Euphoria...I'm not all about the dope...but I can see why some people do drugs instead of smoke...Just my take...but then again I don't really have any experiance with that kind of thing...

I am going through this forum this evening, selecting just your work , as you are the most prolific writer of this little band of knaves.

You write well... albeit a little twisted in the cerebral chords now and then, but...I submit to you, that you may use ,even abuse substances, but they are not the central core to this issue.

What you were talking about was your WRITING. Were you offering an excuse because it was exposing a vunerability of self doubt as opposed to the bravado "wrecking ball" emotion your work usually displays?

Call a spade a shovel, if you wish, but your writing (art, music) is the real addiction, not the drugs. The drugs do not make you a better artist. They just bring out different parts of your perception.
Sometimes they hinder.

Honor that. Stick to that, and please... keep writing.

Thank you for the kind words, and yes...I AM a bit twisted in the cerebral...but hey, it helps me to write.LOL The drugs? Well, I can do with or without them. Sometimes they warp my mind enought to put change into my writing, therefore they aren't all the same, after all who would want stagnant poetry? Not I....keep reading on my friend, as I shall write until the maggots feast upon my flesh...
Live for today, it may be your last.
