Well, they were one of the first. Looking forward to seeing Neubauten in Asheville on the 16th.
"Industrial" music as a genra began with the formation of Throbbing Gristle in late 1975. Genesis P. Orridge invented the term/genra. The genre took its name from the label that Throbbing Gristle set up, Industrial Records.
Yes !!!! you know your stuff mate!
ZYKLON B ZOMBIE!!!!
Have you seen what he looks like lately god it is mental!!!
What about Rhythm & Noise? I think they were around in the late 50s/early 60s if I remember correctly.
I personally dont know much about the origins of noise etc but a good friend of mine listens to it avidly for sure.
He used to be into things like NIN then went on to blackmetal and since then has been listening to Throbbing Gristle and Hanatarash etc. He is in a noise band which comprises of himself!
He is hell of a person and his influences from the music he enjoys are fantastic in a insane way.
Enough of him lol hoha!...
Does anyone enjoy listening to Sheep On Drugs at all?!?!?!?
I personally would call them industrial techno but maybe someone has another opinion with that?!?!?!
