• Good places to hang out.. during the week.

Taking a friend out for their birthday on tuesday, but I don't know any good places to do stuff or drink or whatever during the week.

Suggestions?

Urban or Union Jacks.
Urban is the best vibe in town.
Union Jacks has the best beer selection.

I like the Time Warp Tea Room on Central. Its a biker bar/coffee shop. Its got pool tables & some arcade games in the back & they make a mean grilled cheese.

Tuesdays.......very hard to think of anywhere other than urban that isnt doing karoke

Note however: The Time Warp Tea Room does not serve any form of alcohol. So if your looking for drinks of the fermented variety you won't find em there. However, Tuesdays are the Time Warp Tea Rooms Vintage bike night. If you like old Motorcycles they come out in DROVES on Tuesday nights. Oh, fantastic food to!

And union jacks for that matter. Is it the little british looking place on northshore before you get to the park/mental health hospital?

Urban is in the old city, address is 109 N Central St Knoxville, TN 37902 if you want to map quest your way. its really easy to find.

and you just nailed where Union Jacks is. Thats the bar.
