Yeah me too, but I'm in front of a computer 8 hours a day scanning images in and playing with photoshop. I'm in pretty much the same boat. But at least when I get home, I only spend maybe 20 min on the computer and actually get shit done.

more like server disaster.

there is more downtime coming, the upgrades didn't happen.

I'll probably try again next Sunday.

do they make macs that are rack mountable?

apache and php do run in os x, and they do it well, but i think that if i used a mac for a 24/7 server, the gui would just have to go - resources and all.

The GUI doesn't do much if you're running headless - but it comes in really handy for admin stuff.

And we WOULD be running these if we could afford them. The KG server is a much lower-end machine.

Today's attempt at the upgrade failed again, I'll try again later in the week.
