A round of apologies.

Last night, (or really last few hours since most are still AT temple while I write this) I said some things and did some things I shouldn't have. I had some minor issues with someone and expressed those in an inappropriate fashion and to the wrong person(s). Private apology has already been sent.

I left temple after this, to prevent the creation or contribution to more issues or drama, however my abrupt departure caused what could have been a significant problem for some people had they not been able to remedy it, and had I not realized what I had done and returned to temple to rectify it. What I did was completely irresponsible and inexcusable, and I give general apology to all the parties involved.

I will compliment Jay and the quick response of the Temple team to what happened. After I realized what happened, I had turned around and headed back to the ballroom, and as I was doing so my cell phone was already going off with a "Did you realize what you did" type conversation. I'm glad the situation was already taken care of when I got back, but it's quick resolution does not negate the fact that I messed up.

Apologies all around, and a few privately given already and will be.

May I be the first to thank you for being an adult about the situation and instead of causing more drama, you admitted where you were wrong and apologized.

Well, I, for one, am pissed as hell about all of this and can not forgive such reprehensible behavior! I will never go to Temple again!

:-? <-- only since there is no good raised eyebrow thing.

My note was quite serious. Open apology to those I've hurt and offended, even though I didn't mean to. It can be taken or left, but it is sincere.

You should know that apologies of any kind on this site fall on deaf ears. I commend you for being the bigger party and apologizing. It shows you have tact which is rare on this site. Kudos to you !

"Tact is for those not witty enough to be sarcastic."

I have been told so many times online that I don't have tact. But I strongly disagree. When it comes to my friends and sensitive topics, I'm generally very tactful. But for those I don't give a shit about, honesty overrules tact...

I'm generally very tactful.

Does this mean you admit you're not witty enough????

Sounds like it to me.

One is a Tshirt/bumper sticker slogan. One is my actual writing.

You can believe whatever you want, I could care less.

Sarcasm is the result of those who are unable to express themselves in a way to leave all parties involved feeling satisfied with the exchange. I, for one, have never been sarcastic a day of my life.

Ok, this is not an attack against you, first and foremost... but that has to be one of the biggest loads of nonsensical bullshit i've ever read.... It's impossible to make everybody happy... If you have to lose all sense of humor and shove aside any wit to do it, fuck that... Can't please everybody, why please anybody? Of course I make it a point not to be a total bitch to most people, and in a lot of situations, sarcasm is completely unwarranted... but damn, the world would be such a boring place without any sarcasm......
