sounds like they'll be building a lot of things into it. tacticle sensors, etc - i'm just hoping that they don't make the fatal mistake of opening the neuro-servo communication to the world, so to speak.

think someone taking over or screwing over your computer is bad? imagine someone hacking your limbs.

beside all that, i think it's a cool idea, and even cooler that darpa helped fund it. i just hope people don't fuck it up. as long as they keep is a closed system, it's as safe as anything else ever is.

I heard recently that some device is out that enabled a blind woman to see.... Dunno if it's old news or not, but that's damn cool...
