I think the hand is kinda scary, but I think its silly we can't have human bones. If I wanted to leave my bones to my kids to study in their osteology classes, lol, I should be allowed to. (I was really hoping gramps had left me his when I was taking that class)

yeah i agree about the bones. They are just fuckin bones. A severed hand that looks like it was ripped off..ok..sure..that deserves some investigating..but why cant i keep an old skull if i want to?

"South Plainfield Police were investigating the origins of the body parts because it's a felony in New Jersey to disturb, move or conceal human remains."

That would include human bones..... So, just another reason not to live in New Jersey (well, except for Leonardo and Red Bank)

It's illegal for a person to possess human remains in Tennessee too.

Per the news report:
While human skulls may be purchased online, the origin of the hand is more troubling. The police report states it was severed roughly, not surgically, with bone fragments in the jar.

"troubling" - no kidding.

Question is - where's the rest of the body?
