Ryan Schifrin, director of the upcoming Bigfoot movie Abominable has spliced scenes from Evil Dead 2 with various Friday the 13th films to create this short. It was at one time being discussed by film makers that Ash would be one of the contenders in the next VS installment, but that idea has gone for the wayside for now. Pretty neat short though. :-)
