Oh no! Jefferey saw furries on the intarweb!!!

Apparently some kid in Richmond Oregon was looking to join a fanclub for a baseball team mascot in his hometown and discovered furries on the internet. Now, the town has changed the team name, retired the mascot, and now requests that other teams leave their mascots at home. The parents also petitioned and won to get the local ISP to filter furries from the internet access they provide.
While I think furries are stupid and lame, I don't agree with filtering the internet for your entire userbase because one kid saw something he shouldn't have. Personally, I think the library at the school where he saw it should be responsible for filtering their own internet as well as parents at home. But... that's what anonymous proxies are for I guess.

Well, from reading the article, it appears that it happened at school so the parents are not to blame in this case. But yeah, kids of that age shouldn't really be surfing the net unsupervised.

yea, i had an ex who was into that....she pulled the diapers out and i got the hell out....not judging her, i just have no wish to revert to child hood ever again.....no thanx

Personally, I have a soft spot for furries. There's nothing I love more to dress my partner up as a horse and run around my house to get pinned by that 22" dildo. God...I could totally go for that right now.
