South Park declares WAR on Scientology

'South Park'-Scientology Battle Rages On

Isaac Hayes, Scientologist and longtime voice of 'Chef' on the show quit this week because of a new episode poking fun of Tom Cruise and Scientology, sighting "religious intolerance and bigotry."

Matt Stone and Trey Parker have since fired back saying Hayes has had no problem voicing shows mocking Christianity and other religions, and his actions are the actual intolerance and bigotry, as the show attempts to make fun of everything equally.

Since the falling out, and the show they planned was yanked abruptly from the schedule Wednesday, they plan an all out war on Scientology for the show, hahah!
Them shits may be the biggest publicity stunt I've seen all week, but their press release is hilarious...

"So, Scientology, you may have won THIS battle, but the million-year war for earth has just begun! Temporarily anozinizing our episode will NOT stop us from keeping Thetans forever trapped in your pitiful man-bodies... You have obsructed us for now, but your feeble bid to save humanity will fail!"

One of the reasons that I have always liked South Park is that they slam EVERYTHING from all sexual preferences through all types of political stances and religions. No personal matter is safe with them. *giggle* I wouldn't find it nearly as funny otherwise.

Isaac Hayes did not quit his gig voicing South Park's Chef over some Scientology flap reports TV Guide.

FoxNews.com has deemed it "ridiculous" that the singer, who has been recovering from a stroke suffered in mid-January, would all of a sudden turn against the show for poking fun at his religion. Those close to Hayes are said to be "mystified" by the statement released March 13 and attributed to him.

Meanwhile he Scientology-skewering "Trapped in a Closet" episode, pulled last week amidst allegations that Tom Cruise had intervened, will air this Wednesday.

That's the only thing that makes sense, I can't imagine someone being so myopic about their own religion after lambasting others so throroughly...

Any other old folks hear remember what the producers did to Col Henry Blake when McLean Stevenson decided to leave MASH?

Matt and Trey seem to have pulled a Col. Blake on Chef.

OMFG, did anybody see the newest two episodes. I just finally got around to watching them. I laughed my ass off at how much they attacked Comedy Central for pulling the Tom Cruise Won't Come Out of the Closet episode. By far the best representation my feelings towards cencorship ever. It's like Comedy Central gave them fuel to top themselves, and they finally ignited it.

Yeah, but this is some confounded hypocritical pussified B.S. on Comedy Central's part:
