Grandpa Munster' Al Lewis Dies at 95

Al Lewis, the cigar-chomping patriarch of ``The Munsters'' whose work as a basketball scout, restaurateur and political candidate never eclipsed his role as Grandpa from the television sitcom, died after years of failing health. He was 95.

You can read the whole AP story here

They failed to mention he was a rack band manager too. I remeber back in the 80s he sent me a bag Grandpa's Pasta (in the shape of little bats as I recall) from his resturant at the radion station I was working at.

RIP Grandpa

that man went through hell over the past few years of his life.

i hate that he's gone, but i'm glad to know he's not suffering like that anymore.

i wasn't lucky enough to actually see/hear it, but that rocks the way he basically told the FCC to go fuck themselves. here's to you, grandpa, from one potty mouth to another.

:flush:
