Lamb of God Frontman to Visit Tri-Cities.

On Thursday night, October 27th, Mayhem Productions in conjunction with The Sophisticated Otter welcomes a five-band show of epic proportions. Coming to town will be: Randy Blythe, frontman of metal super-band, Lamb of God’s side-project, Halo of Locusts, Prosthetic Records own, Byzantine, Escape Artists Records artist, The Dream is Dead, and Roadrunner Records newest signing, Children of Tragedy. The show will be opened by local favorites Fire Face. The show will be held at The Sophisticated Otter, 400 Ashe St. in Johnson City, TN. Admission is only $10, for what is sure to be a show to be remembered.

Lamb of God have quickly becoming one of the bands on the forefront of the American metal scene. Fronted by Randy Blythe, the band sprang onto the American scene with the release of “New American Gospelâ€

Lamb of God aren't excactly my favorite band....but I do have alot of respect for them, and what they do.

Randy appears to be a nice, down to earth sort of guy.

But, then again, I am into metal...so....

Um, just because someone doesn't hold your opinion doesn't mean they suck.

Just because a band is popular and makes a shit ton of money doesn't mean they are good, talented, or do not suck.

For example, New Kids on The Block, Britney Spears, The Backstreet Boys, Good Charlotte and all that lame ass emo shit that stupid kids are going nuts for these days.

Pretty much low on talent, still making lots of money....

Opinions are like assholes remember, don't take someone elses so personally.

they are hardly making millions
the band themselves all admit they are broke as shit
they probably havent even sold a million albums yet, which if they did they would probably net under 100,000 dollars from, then divided amongst the band members
small bands sign heavy handed contracts aimed at them not making shit.
its just reality.
deal with it.
their record label pays for most of their shit, then they spend their lives repaying the record company
in that revolver article a few months ago they mentioned finally buying a bus and being even worse in debt now.
just a thought.

Yeah, Lamb of God does make more money than I do. It probably has something to do with the fact that I AM NOT A ROCKSTAR.

I never knew that a reply would incite such a response....and I did not even reply to it! Someone from my band useed my name ...lol! Hardcore Girl has always hated me...however she makes a valid point...opinions are like assholes. So at least we agree on that. Lamb of God is ok but I like Sevendust better...LOL...now I know I will get strung up for that! And frankly, I don't care anymore!

On a side note: I fell asleep at a sevendust show at the mercury theater about 10 ft from the stage :yawn: boring....
