Too bad this had to come to a head because some inbred couldn't handle his liquor.
I fully support, and fight for, a persons right to burn the flag in protest.
Of course I also support my right to ruthlessly kick the hell out of their genitals if that protest stems from drinking half a bottle of Boones Farm Strawberry Wine and not ever getting laid.

OK...I know the kid...This wasn't JUST because he was drunk...But, I will say that he prolly thought it was a GREAT idea while drunk...That's all...Not saying that I approve...Actually, saying his parents are full of shit, & trying to look better for being parents of a drunk high school drop out...Rather than the parents of an Anti-American, Flag Burning, Unpatriotic, Satan Worshiping, Baby Killing, Virgin Raping.......Oh, wait...I'm getting a step ahead of public concensus...

sounds to me like the parents are trying to make excuses for the kid. i wanted to know from the kid who burned the flag. maybe he IS angry at america, just like me, but got scared when his parents flogged him into submission. and besides, how is the government going to know we're pissed and want solutions if we don't actively protest and show them. or maybe it was just some drunk kid.

He was brought up in church, and he knows right from wrong," Doc Staley said.
I find it sad and scarey that a statement like this even comes into the equation.

"This is where the drinking came in. And he's not very good at it," the father said.
I find it sad and scary that a statement like
this even comes into the equation.
