Please please, there are no "demons". The only demons that exist are fear tactics and domination by others. At least that is my opinion.

I just read that on Flying Fool's blog. I liked his assessment... crazy fucking zealots. Mental illness or having an actual backbone (especially in women) have long been misconstrued as demonic possession.

Wonder if Father Daniel will be the next one to be crucified?

mental illness and quite simply, if you believe in something enough, you can make it happen...so if you truly believe you are under the control of a demon, you will act that way...
there is spirituality and metaphysical knowledge and then there are people that act out of ignorance...lol...I've known my lot.

Why are women always to blame? Oh yeah, because we have power...sorry, I forgot!

Same shit as the Salem Witch Trials. And it isn't just women. Men do it to other men too, but that is usually a tactic to gain more power for the murderer. Rasputin any one? My thinking is that if you try to change anyone with or without exorsism then you are not being fair to that person. If that person wants change then they have been convinced by others or themselves that what they aren't good enough. No faith. I also like how the knowledge of human anatomy that has been passed down through many generations : 3 days+ no food/liquid+ crucifiction= death: was completly ignored for the sake of a soul that wasn't even his. Sick shit. And only at the cost of 20 years of solitute, becuase you know that they won't stick him with the regular inmates. He will become the new clergy in the joint. Sick shit.

I agree with serenity on this one...Ive done some experimentation with the power of belief(Were all familiar with Nieche's will to power right?) its works pretty well especially in group settings...but any concentrated energy output can produce tangible results from what Ive seen...Its the basis of ritual magic or getting yourself to work on time when traffic's bad...kinda makes ya wonder doesnt it? If reality is subjective then does that mean if you really believe in whatever religon then those standards will apply to you after death? If you honestly dont have any beliefs than the rides over and that it? Probably the reason for all this "demonic possesion" stuff...think of all the collective energy being put into the various forms of christian mythos....with that much energy plus the extensive ritualization that is inate in the various branchs(crucifix's as talismans...communion as a group ritual etc..) no wonder people see the virgin mary in a grilled chesse sandwich or people convince themselve there being taken over by a "demonic force"...something to think about...and yea women hold quite the impressive power...something I covet but would never attempt to hold for my own...Frankenstien is my all time favorite book and one of the messages you could get from that is the disaster that occurs when a man tries to create a child without a woman...sorta Prometheus with a misogyny streak...so I'll stick to artifical human companions as a hobby...
