A bevy of horror genre related film directors will participate including Roger Corman, John Landis, George Romero,Stuart Gordon(who is doing one of my favorite lovecraft stories, dreams in the witchouse),Dario Argento, and Tobe Hooper.

I saw this on Bloody Disgusting and thought it looked great.I can't wait to see it.However,I doubt Lucio Fulci will be heavily invovled, since to the best of my knowledge he has been dead for almost 10 years.

Yes,he died in 1996,not very long after what I believe to have been his first fango convention in america.
No,I've never posted on the board, but I have to get my horror fix and stay updated on all the goings on.

Dario Argento comparing notes with Corman.. haha! thats fucking great. i love Argento for scaring me off LSD with his visual work, and i love Corman for making me do LSD to overlook his sometimes nonexistant visual work (i dont mean special effects, everyones noticed some done in a day camera clipping in Corman movies at least once)....
oh thats fucking brilliant.
haha
i wanna cum all over this one.

yeah carpenter's is the only one that had a lot of good gore in it,and is hands down the best...argento's and stuart's(imo the 2nd and 3rd best) had a tad,but most have been pretty watered down...
i think it's just a marketing ploy to sell the dvd's...since imprint will be released on dvd by idt and anchor bay...heard it's about fetuses(probably something like fruit chan's dumplings),and that's what did it...but whatever it's a pay for viewing cable station(i guess soft-core is okay)for tiamat's sake...
miike is the hottest ticket out there, seeing yokai at nevermore in a month...miike,aja,and del toro are the future...
season 2 is already a go and i hear a few will be held over, with rob zombie, del toro, and brad anderson joining the mix...garris is still working on getting commitments from others...
