Ok since caustic is leaving and did his last show last night (it was very good by the way), and I dont want to be rude but we need a replacement!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!. Now since none of the local Radio stations are ever going to do anything, we have to keep the psyco ward alive and to do that we need Ut students. Now in your discriptions many of you put student, so some of you have to be UT students, so lets hear from some volenteers.

I'm a student, but I don't think that mortician classes qualify.

Caustic sucked. I'm glad he's gone. He liked men, too.

My step brother was a DJ at UTK and he was a graphic design/museaum curator major.

At Tech anyone could be a DJ, as long as you took the 'class' which was the other DJ's showing you how to not break shit for 1 hour once a week for a month. I had a show for 4 semesters and did rotation for 2.

I believe that Caustic only sucks if you take him too damn seriously. Or if you pay him enough.

He does like men, though.

1. Problem is, you're thinking "Goth." Ha ha, fuckos, joke's on you. That's like getting a swing kid to host my show, which is pointless, since it was industrial.

2. Good luck finding someone else as progressive.

3. I'm going to tell the station manager and the station professor advisor to never allow anyone else to use the name "Psycho Ward" again.

Zing!

But you are so Goth!

Sadly, I have to agree.

I hear "Rodent Love" hasn't been taken by anyone, yet.

1. any student that takes the class creapyrob mentioned lets get on it.

2. goth is anything I like  (yes that means the entire sound track to Shrek is goth)

3. As progressive? well many are making the music so we should be able to find someone to play it.

4. though I enjoyed Caustics years there the psycho ward existeted before him (I got hooked when hubbert was there) so its leniage can continue.

Brad Hubbard passed it on to me and I passed it on to Kane & Vose when I left. Once they were kicked out, I reclaimed the mantle. So, yeah, fuck you if I seem bristley that other people would try to take it; I know Brad would have rather seen it dead then passed on to someone he didn't know or trust, as would Kane & Vose.

No, no. Psycho Ward's shut its doors until I open 'em back up.

this is making me miss doing my industrial show back in South Carolina...at least i left it in good hands. it'll be different, but he does a good job.

and if UT is anything like USC, it's really hard to find someone responsible enough to give over a few hours a week to do a good job. and that's if you can find someone who likes the music.

i totally understand what Caustic's saying about other people doing it after him.

err ok  the point of this thread Is to get music back on the air, of a simillar but not ness the same as psycho ward (and who knows maybe it will grow in a different direction) and we can call it........errr....the janitors closet (or something better), but then the point is mote (is that right?) unless we find someone who will to do a show

hopefully the program director will have enough sense to put something of the same quality on the air to keep the marketing demographic that they had with the psycho ward. wow for half a second i sounded intelligent. :?: :!:

I admit that I never listened to "Psycho Ward", and only spoke briefly to Caustic while I knew him in Knoxville. Without his influence though, I would not have been introduced to new bands I now listen to often like Empire State Human or watch import movies like Shaolin Soccer (The Best Damn Movie Ever!).

He's leaving Knoxville soon and moving on to greener pastures where he can prey upon other dramatic yet mindless sheep. If you blinked and missed his presence while he was here, its your own damn fault. Hate him, love him, be insulted by him, or revel in the truth he spoke.

But replace him? Not a chance in Hell.
