Normally, I don't endorse shows (especially local bands) but, tonight is something special. The Dixie Dirt is playing and I have to admit that they have blown me away with their sound. I did a practice session at Blue Cats on Monday and they blew me away with their sound. If you like bands like The Pixies, Mazzy Star, or Cowboy Junkies, this show is for you. We'll also be filming footage for an upcoming DVD and recording audio for a live album.

So anyway, the show starts at 9pm with The Gypsie Hands belly dance troop followed by Glossary. $6 at the door $5 with a college ID.

Because most of the acts I work with I don't like that much. There are a few likt the one tonight that was well worth it though. .
