Swedish stalwarts Cold Meat Inudstry are no longer satisfied with just abusing your CD player and now have their evil gaze set on your DVD player too. Out this May 15th, CMI139 is to be a live CD / DVD collection entitled "Disobey" from seminal death industrial act Brighter Death Now. The disc is a double sided hybrid - one audio, the other with video content and apparently can be played in either type of player. The audio content is from 1997 with the video portion having been sourced from the project's 2003 performance in Rostock, Germany. What you can expect according to the chilly ones is some "brutal and destructive industrial sounds, dealing with sinister topics such as death, childabuse and confusing love" (not sure if "I love wassabi peas" counts or not but it is a sinister addiction for me). The disc sports a snazzy embossed DVD digipack and has a total run of 2000 copies.
