Gypsy 83....Some of us were never meant to fit in.

A road trip to the "Night of 1,000 Stevie Nicks" celebration in New York forces two goth loving misfits, Gypsy :a 25 year old heavyset Stevie fanatic, and Clive: an 18 year old gay Robert Smith fanatic, to face their own insecurities and find the right path for pursuing their dreams. Directed by Todd Stphens and starring Sara Rue,Kett Turton, Karen Black, Paulo Costanzo and Anson Scoville. Soundtrack featuring The Cure, Bauhaus, Diva Destruction, and Karen Black.

I LOVED THIS FILM! This is an indie flick and a Sundance feature, which I fell in love with. Great story of two everyday Goths dealing with real problems. They only had a couple of copies at Blockbuster, but I gotta special order this one....loved it. If you've seen it let me know what you guys thought!

I hated it. I thought it was uber cheesy and rife with goth stereotypes. Plus that Sarah Rue chick's lisp drives me fucking crazy.

bleh. that movie sucked Stevie Nicks's butthole.
descent soundtrack, but the acting was so annoying and lame I wanted to pee on the DVD box art.

Haven't seen it yet, but from what I've heard elsewhere, it's mixed reviews too. May watch it I find myself in the mood for cheese.
