Is this okay?

I'm not exactly "new" per se but obviously only recently have I become anything vaguely resembling active on the board. I wanted to ask what the general guidelines are for topics, like what's okay to bring up and what isn't. Obviously a certain amount of politics comes up, but I haven't noticed a whole lot of specifics. For example, if I wanted to start a discussion over social security reform, is that kosher? Basically what I'm asking is what, if anything, is off limits?

for guidlines look in the FAQ located at the top of General.

the quick and dirty is: pretty much anything goes, as long as you keep it polite. no personal attatcks. no graphic sex(there is another forum for that).

no worries if you go to far someone will tell you ;-)

At length regardless if they understand you or not. But, yes, pretty much anything is fine to post on. Just try not to insult anyones IQ in direct words. They tend to hate that.
