who gives a shit where we go, where we dance, as long as you have a damn good time.
loosen up. and let the little things slide. you will not impress anyone by having debates all the time about which club night is better, and voicing your reason of why the others suck. its just like highschool all over again. cliques. YUCK.
i just had to say something of how callous and apathetic people are these days. all these different club nites are to appease the variety and diversity of this group. those guys are working so hard to show you all a good time and all i've seen on this board is people complaining. waaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!
because this is always going on i've hesitated to post anything. i have to sort through all the crap to find something worth reading and replying to.
no offense to anyone
. really.
i just want to recognize those guys behind the scenes, working there asses off, to show everyone a good time.
thanks to all the dj's thats that got me moving on the dance floor.
to be perfectly honest, that is one of the only reasons i go out to the club nights in the first place.
Thanks guys.

I think there is a balance to be found between those who offer criticism (mostly I think they aim for it to be constructive) and those who consistently just go with the flow and don't want to make any waves.
Some of us have been complaining for yeeaaars about some music being played into the ground, and what do we have now but more diversity than we can handle, then of course people complain about it not being Pure Gawth....
But, if you are consistently dissapointed with everything we try to offer...by all means, stay home or go somewhere else...
I go out mostly for the people in this group that i have come to love (some to tolerate) and if I hear a song I like that I can dance drunkenly too..all the better.

um ,u might want to wipe that brown off your nose.
The irony. complaining about apathy, while making an arguement for not caring.
seriously.
I've been hearing better music at the rush. (joydrop, souxsie, cure, depeche mode, new order etc..)

hey uhh i do appreciate the fact that you pointed out my missuse of the word apathy.
the words i should have used are stuck-up and selfish. thanks
for the correction really.
i swear the grammar nazis are out to get me.

I personally can't wait to be able to go to temple.
I have always loved a high variety of music.... and I can't wait to see what these dj's spin out.
That is what make people so amazing, is their diversity.

i find myself a bit bored at temple often, but thats my own fault. it goes back to that 'do i wanna be in a good mood or bad mood?' mentality. if you are determined to have a great time, you will. if you don't really care or aren't in the mood, its more than likely gonna suck.
sure, if you're stressed or have alot on your mind; it will be hard to let loose. but i think alot of times people don't have a good time and its their own fault, but blame the event or the music or the location.
i tire of the same music everywhere i go. some djs, i can even predict their setlist before it starts. but hey, theres other shit going on in their lives. who wants to sit there and ponder over what they are going to play to make people dance every weekend/month? especially if they have other jobs or kids. i wouldn't want to. prolly why i don't dj.
though, i will say that, depsite having been a big manson fan, i am sick to death of 'sweet dreams'. everytime its played, i want to start my own self mutilation..........starting with my eardrums.
a cool thing about temple is that the dj list is always changing, so the odds of hearing something different are high.
i'm rambling again...........don't mind me.
bam.

no, no. it wasn't misuse of the word, it was ironic use of if... Making an arguement to not care, citing apathy.
situational irony at it's finest.
'starting w/ eardrums...'
heheh.

It's as simple as this: IF YOU DON'T 'EFFIN LIKE A CLUB, DON'T BITCH ABOUT IT(though Jay is always open to suggestions)... just DON'T 'EFFIN GO. Thank you and good evening.
