Is there anything I could do being a non-knox county citizen??
I've been going there for YEARS, its a home away from home, my friggin mom and stepdad met and got married there like 7 or 8 freakin' years ago.
Can we like, chain ourselves to it and refused to leave? lol

I'm not a Knox county citizen but I am still going. I'm off of work, by request, that day at noon so if anyone wants to meet up or whatever... I'm willing.

Yeah, this meeting is a lot like being mugged and then having the mugger ask if you'd rather be knocked out with a brick or a rock, but it beats the hell out of sitting around whining about how Knoxville sucks.
If Knoxville sucks, it's because we let it.

I also want to remind everyone that this is about much more than just the coffee house, even though that's my main reason for being there. There are a lot of other places in that area that are on this agenda and we have a chance of losing. Please come out and show support for the entire area.

We might not completely lose it...if you know my xanga, go read my take on how it all was proposed today. I give my opinion on three of the four who put in their bids. It still isn't a great picture to look at, but the skies are painted a little less gray now.
