I just wanted to thank everybody for making my friend Loretta (aka Raven) feel welcome. She is my oldest and dearest friend. Thanks to Arkady for playing Shriekback, which brought back memories from the Merc. I somehow managed to injure my foot. If anyone remembers how, please post. I wasn't terribly intoxicated, the foot just didn't hurt until this morning. Hope everyone else is recovering as well.

I think I maybe got to see Raven, but I didn't get intriduced. Seeing as I was having a severe case of the "Run Around Hypers" (Hey who put sugar in my wine, you asses!) 1. Cathy wanted to leave very badly, and I pretty much did too, near the beginning. I don't know how to describe what I was feeling. A combination of anger, disgust, pity, and confusion. I don't care what kind of shenanigans you do in the bedroom, you should not make your girlfriend wear handcuffs to go to a bar. The look on her face and the way her hands kept shaking made it even worse. "Teddy bear" my fucking ass. And if you think I'm "starting drama" by mentioning this, you can damn well bite me. Caring about someone's well-being is not drama.

2. After they left, though, we had a fantastic time. Ms. Tori Bat looked fantabulous. Kelvin looked almost frighteningly comfortable in a suit. And X, well... God bless the hell out of ya.

3. I'm glad the schoolgirl thing wasn't nearly as creepy as it could have been.

4. There was a lot more about the night that was great, but uh... honestly, I'm really having a hard time remembering.

5. Oh, yeah, thanks to Michael for playing Love and Rockets for me, and I would have danced - honest! - but I was in the men's room having a very important conversation about... damn it! My memory has gone out the fucking window!

6. To the cute girl who passed me on the way to the men's room and said "I love your jacket", I apologize for not saying anything back, as I didn't process what you had said until I was already in the bathroom.

7. Who was the guy in cowboy hat and wifebeater who yelled at me "You look like a faggot in that hat!" Was it someone I know making a joke, or was it an actual asshole?
