Okay, i was just thinking about some of these old cartoons/power rangers ripoffs that i watched when i was a kid. Has anybody seen these or anything like them?
-Bucky O'Hare: A green rabbit, a four-armed pirate duck, a psychic cat, a nerd, and a one-eyed robot travel through space trying to destroy the evil empire of the Toads. I shit you not.
-Tatooed Teenage Alien Fighters from Beverly Hills: I saw like two episodes of this shit. 5 teenager meet what honestly looks like an aborted fetus that got eaten by a dog then thrown back up. He gives each of them a tattoo and they all get super powers or something.

No, I don't remember those. But does anyone remember the title of the TV show about this haunted high school? It had giant spiders running around all over the place. It aired on Saturday mornings on either CBS or FOX. It's driving me crazy that I can't remember the name of this show!

Ah! I love old shows. There were so many power rangers rip offs. The ones I remember best are "VR Trooper" and "Big Bad Beetle Borgs," the latter being my favorite. A green ghost guy named "Flabber" that sorta reminded me of Ronald McDonald and Jay Leno, only there was something subtly sad and creepy about him. Never could figure out why. But he gave these 3 kids a metal beetle thing, and they fought this evil guy from a comic book. Awesome.
...and it amazes me that after 10 years and thousands of dollars later, the power rangers budget hasn't gotten any bigger. They're still fighting people in Halloween costumes behind warehouses, with a field and flaming trashcans in the background. I'm all for the don't fix it it it ain't broken thing, but that's just sad.

No way man, Groovy Ghoulies and Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends/Incredible Hulk hour, now that was the crap to grow up on, and after that Kung Fu Theatre on a rainy Sat afternoon rocked.
Power Rangers were just total and complete shite, not even worth watching, I'd rather of watched Reboot, Animaniacs and The Tick
