Everything Fades


There is a time when life ceases to exist
When the eternal love begins to fade
Hearts shatter and break away
As the will to push on falls victim,
As the shade of immortallity strays

Memories are lost
Pain departs
Souls erupt
Darkness fades.

There is an end to everything that is
And to what will never be
The leader, and the follower,
The master and the apprentice.
All will fade.

Pain's released
Souls on fire
Disappearing from

A hearts desire

The time will come when all will disappear
The breaking of bones, clashing of shields.
Warriors and scholars fall to fate
And wither away within demise
To a false sleep as the world falls to darkness

Swords fall
Scrolls lost
Nightmares gone
Eyes open

An era will arise, and all will depart
The prison opened, shackles broken.
The cage surrounding the soul,
Will disappear, as time rolls on
And he will fade, and be, nevermore.

This is damn good, especially for this board.

BTW, did everyone slack up on the Storytellers forum in my absence or what? This is just sad. No one posts anything.
