The Rock Against Bush vol. 2 came out on August 10th for those of you that didn't know.
To see which bands are on this CD-

If you didn't like the bands on the first CD, maybe you'll like some of the ones on this CD? Then again, this isn't a punk board, so I dunno if anyone else will like it or not...but it is for a good cause, ya know?

no seriously, are there any bands that support Bush?

I can only think of Toby Keith but he def. wouldn't fit in on Judas' album....hmm...I'd say you have the right idea though Damia, the majority of those who might support Bush would be country artists. So it'd have to be something like Ho Down Against Kerry....not something I'd buy.

A) most of those bands are pop-punk/nu-punk which to those of us beyond a 15 min memory know IS NOT PUNK BUT A MASS MEDIA MARKETING PLOY TO DESTROY A GOOD MUSIC GENRE AND TURN IT INTO PROFIT.
the next person that tells me some goddamned emo band or nu-punk band has a fucking thing in common with black flag ill gut them. may mike ness from social D use your skeleton for their next album cover.

theres a few good bands on that comp, but i think they coulda picked some better tracks and better bands. there are some real punk bands left.... some of em ended up on their too... lol
b) the ministry song on it (no w) is pretty tight.
c) better against bush albums:
1) ministry - houses of the mole
2) kmfdm - ww3
3)bad religion - empire stiikes first
d) theres been so many pro war and pro bush and anti liberal songs recorded in the last 4 years its sick
remember the dixie chicks arguments and that tobey keith asshole?
pro bush people are typically uneveolved fignerless fuck tards that cant hold an instrument.
where are these songs? in country music bins arcoss the country
this way the unevolved people can go to the unevolved music isle and listen to unevolved songs for unevolved ideas
WE FEAR EVOLUTION OR LEARNING THAT WE ARE DILLIGENT REDNECK ASSHOLES SO WE VOTE BUSH!! DOWN WITH THE USA! UP WITH HALLIBURTON!!
"ask me why your feeling screwed and ill give you the answer theres a colon dick and bush just a hammering away" - ministry

I won't buy anything supporting Bush anyway...I can't stand the fucktard. I just can't think of any musicians, outside of those who seem to not think for themselves (i.e. country or kiddie pop) who would support him to put their music on an album. Heh.

I find kerry supporters have to scream and yell to get there point across.Let the talentless hacks of nu punk sound off.Personally i will take Ted Nugents guitar styles anyday.Look its real simple and if you listend to Rush on 99.1 he points out how clueless and uppercrust Kerry is.But if you like Kerry and wanna vote for him thats great and thats what makes our homeland so wonderful.

yeah, if Bush has Florida's help, he'll win again...then I'm moving to Canada.
and Judas gnb: are you trying to say that Ted Nugent supports Bush? because other than mentioning Ted Nugent, you haven't told me of any bands that support Bush. I'm seriously curious to know if there really are any bands that support Bush.
to you very few Bush supporters on this board: have y'all watched any of the animations that you'll find if you follow my signature link? A couple of them are pretty silly, but most of them are VERY serious and it's stuff that I think Americans have the right to know.

junkie christ, you are my new hero for even mentioning Bad Religion Empire Strikes First.
Artists are creative by definition. Our culture rejects creative people. Rejected people are not happy with the status quo. Creative people are also typically intelligent and/or educated. Intelligent people unhappy wit h the status quo and rejected by the current culture are normally liberal.
I see nothing odd or wrong about the fact that most bands support liberal candidates and ideas. Though if I were a conservative, I might argue that having a punk band support a candidate doesn't exactly qualify him for office.
But since I'm extremely liberal, I'd say being IN a punk band would make you qualified.

Honestly, I prefer to think for myself, research things myself, and form my own opinions as opposed to blindly following the words of some fat rich fuck. But, as you said - it's every Americans right to make their own descions (at least for the moment - the future doesn't look to good if things continue on their present path).
