A dark night of the soul

I've walked the graveyard at midnight
to find the old section
lovers gone to dust centuries ago
reading the inscriptions on the mottled stone
with my fingertips
down on my knees in the darkness
words of love and remembrance

I've roamed the darklands
I keep walking down mean streets
A street angel
Protected a soul
down on her knees
but Watched over
fulfilling my purpose

I've traveled the paths of the angry dead
Where on every hill a gallows
every noose an anhk inverted
brought forth the fire
burning in my soul for a soul
a life for a life, freed and continuing
fulfilling my purpose

I run through the grass
I run over the stones
Down to the sea
Show me the way back
to the sea

Just wanted to see who was listening. Does KG always go this quiet in the middle of the summer? Deserted chat room, none of the usual posters to keep things entertaining. First sanctus: June 03, first social KG event: Aug. 03, first KG logon: Sept. 03. So I haven't seen the forum in the summertime before. Is this normal or is there some boycott going on that I don't know about?

I think it's the usual summer slow down, but who knows? I didn't attain a functional computer until last summer & did't get to use it much until around August. Makes sense though... more folks spending their freetime out of doors & all.

In the summer people tend to have less to do so they find things to do, meaning actually leaving the house. the best way of getting posters ive noticed is to me ill for a week then all of a sudden everyone gats all posty.
