• Alexander just got out of surgery

As of this moment, all is well. He is stable and was doing well enough that they didn't need to keep him connected to the machine that pumps the blood in place of the heart. We have not seen him yet but expect to within the hour. I will post more as soon as I know. Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Tell Karla to keep those nurses in line and don't take any shit, but Vanderbilt is the best place to be for babies and I'm sure everyone will do fine. If you guys need anything while you're in town, you know how to contact us.
