...to everyone from here in Graz, Austria, where I'm in the second week of my opera summer program...I've definitely had a whirlwind of stuff in the past month and a half...here're some highlights for ya:

Berlin: chaperoning the Laurel High School kids was all sorts of special in itself...went to a goth club there called K17 one night and had an entertaining time, particularly since it didn't close till 8 AM...(and then you can take the underground home with your beer in hand while the people going to work give you dirty looks! )...stayed up for 48 hours straight at one point...drank lots of Pernod...and all in 5 days...

Vienna: a fabulous, beautiful city...scads of art museums and 2 full-time opera houses, which made me lots of happy ...went to the Rainbow Parade, very fun...went to Budapest for a day and Krakow for a week...got pissed off at my friend Matt (with whom I was staying) and packed up all his stuff and tried to kick him out of the apt we were renting...and generally had a highly entertaining time...

So that's the short version thus far...have a lovely Sanctus next weekend...ta, dears!
