rain, rain...

and even more rain.

please be careful when traveling. many of the major roads in the area are flooded, which means backroads are liable to be very dangerous. west knox is without power in the bearden area (as of 4:45), including traffic lights.

if its not neccesary, the newspeople are suggesting to stay at home, not going out.

Driving was no fun. I drove into a wall of pounding rain trying to get to class tonight, then found they'd cancelled the class due to the weather! :roll:

The Frosty one and I were on our way to work when it hit. It even managed to knock the windsheild wiper off track causing us to only see through half of the wind shield with it fogged up none the less. :evil:

the parking lot at PF changs flooded they showed several cars that were parked there under water (only the very tops were visible), The Knoxville wholsale funiture store parking lot contnues to colapse all the buildings in that complex were evacuated last night, and alot of people north of 40 on Weisgarber have no phones, but do have power, thats a first.

my husband 's civil engineering firm is working on the hole in the knox. wholesale parking lot. they are trying to get it stablized. if interested, he has pictures and updates here http://handcrafted.dyndns.org/blog
