Ok, so I have this family recipe that I just thought I could share:
you need:
1 large casserole dish
3 bars of cream cheese (preferably philidelphia)
4 cups granulated sugar
1 large can of strawberry pie filling, with strawberries
1 box dream whip
1 package of graham cracker crumbs
1 stick of butter
melt butter, poor into graham cracker crumbs and mix. press mixture into bottom of caserole and bake until golden at 375 degrees. while that's baking mix the dream whip according to the directions on the box. In another bowl, mix cream cheese and sugar, blend well. once that's blended, add the dream whip to the cream cheese mixture. After the crust is baked, let it cool, then layer strawberry filling, cream cheese mixture, strawberry filling, cream cheese mixture, until the dish is full. (make sure the top layer is the cream cheese mixture. If you have any graham cracker crumbs left, sprinkle on top, then refrigerate for one hour.
and for a little added decoration, toss a little food coloring into the cream cheese...you could have a blood pie, a christmas treat, and many other special occasions can be covered.
