The song of mine that i played at Sanctus

As many of you may know, I am in the process of recording an Album of my own composition. In fact, Bone and myself have been working on many of the songs for a few years. It's deffinately not like the "Acid Jazz" stuff you may have herdbefore from us. This album is going to be well structured and in many cases, quite danceable.
I played a rough version of one of the song that will be on the CD at Sanctus during my main set and I thought I would post a link to the MP3 for those of you that may have missed it or wanted to hear it again. This track was recorded all at once and was only ment to be a place holder during the multi-tracking process but it came out well enough that it represented the core feeling of the song. Of course, the finish product will sound much better and will have nice stereo effects but, this version does give the listener an idea of the musical direction I am going.
FYI it's just under 5 megs and may take a while for you to DL if you are on dialup.

synths and drums -
pretty typical 90's club industrial sound sorta ebm
vocals -
way to hot in the mix
don't like the efx
the rhyme scheme is identical to "so alive" by love and rockets
i know it's a rough mix
id' add a lot more layers
and burry the vocals some
and maybe play with a couple of different efx on the vox
other than what's going on currently
other than that
not my cup of tea at all
but i'm sure it would please many goths

The vox are hot in the mix. Like I said, I recorded this for refrence as I multitracked. It's not even close to what the final will sound like.

sure,
that's why i acknowledged it's a rough mix
per your initial post
other than that man
sounds pretty good
could use some mastering once it's finished
after that you'll be bumpin
whats the name of the project

ok, the only problem with it is you are missing somthing
hmm
not sure what it is exactly, maybe a live bass track with a bald tattoed bass player with the proper fx processor on a frettless bass -
but then again i just cant put my finger on it
also, i know its a rough mix but i have friends here that i may never see again, and they want copies of the mp3 i downloaded, is that cool with you?
thanks
