• KG Outage

It appears that today's KG outage is a result of an ISP issue.

I'm in the process of trying to obtain more information.

KG is in fact up and functional at the moment, and I can get to the ISP's router from the KG local network, but I cannot get to any other sites, and it appears that no traffic is getting in.

I was kinda wondering what was going on...but I've been kinda messed up today, my email is all messed up and everything so I thought maybe I wasn't typing in the web page right or something. But, like I said...weird things are messing with me today.

Update:

We seem to be back up now. I can acutally get to the network status page, they don't claim to have it fixed yet.

Customers routed through Atlanta are currently experiencing a loss of Internet connectivity. Affected states include Alabama, Western Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Missouri, North & South Carolinas, and Tennessee.
Engineers are aware and working to resolve this issue, there is currently no ETR.

They now claim to have the problem corrected. I'm going to stop sitting here monitoring it at the console now.

WOW!!! I can't believe I was actually away from my computer long enough to miss a whole outage!! Barry will be so proud, lol.

And it looks like there was another one today. About an hour, starting at about 11:30.

I think they're having serious problems with that Atlanta router.

Yeah. Serious suckage. You'd think they would have some similance of redundancy in their network or something.

good to know it just wasnt me.....i tried just about every way i know to get to the site......only to have it fail....
