• Blackest Coffee Hour

With the cold weather upon us, 11th St. isn't such a great place for Blackest Coffee Hour (for those of us who smoke, anyway.) I'm headed out tomorrow night for coffee and conversation. Will anyone else be about and what coffee house do you prefer?

Cup-A-Joe on the strip is closed.

JFG in the Old City is now Cup-A-Joe. (The Guiness will be on draft in the next week or so)

OK, so now how can I edit the survey and take "Cup-a-Joe on the strip" off the survey?! It let me edit it until a vote was cast, now it's locked in I guess.

Grrr... guess I'll be at Cup-a-Joe in the Old City (formerly JFG) tomorrow night. Anyone who's avoiding me, go somewhere else!

If I left out any of your favorite coffee house haunts, let me know. I'm up for something new, just so long as they let me smoke without losing valuable body parts to the cold!

I'm not much for sitting in a room full of smoke myself, or for suffering the chill for you addicts..so if I were to go, I'd still go to 11th.

If I were you, I'd also consider how much parking blows in the Old City.

If people are going to be at 11th St, I'll suffer for the cause. I'd rather not smoke in company than smoke alone. Whoever is planning on going, let me know.

As far as I am concerned, cup-of-joe should die and stay dead. As long as it is still owned by Joe, I refuse to contribute money or my presence to the place.
Now, if he has just sold the company, I will attend. Otherwise do not expect to see me there.

when/why did cup-a-joes close? I drive by there all the time and didn't even notice.

joe was always rather rude to me. And I hated how if there was a buncha smoke in there (which usually doesn't bother me) he wouldn't crack the upstairs door and let some of it out...

I don't know. I don't mind my friend who smoke as long as there is a window open SOMEWHERE.
