Are you talking about the one that is either sponsored by or has a lot of UT kids? I can't remember the name.

All I know is UTK is suffering. This semester I was told that I needed to purchase my own video editing equipment because utk now has restricted access to their video lab, *even for video/media majors like me*. Which is sad.

I'm also required to buy my own DV camera and mini disk recorder, because again, utk is going to stop making these purchases for students to use and check out.

I know UTK has lots of problems, but if Media Arts is having a hard time it also refects on the Knoxville community because unlike a lot of other majors, we actually try to bring in money for the department.
