• jenna in hospital

Jenna has been hospitalized due to complications in our pregnancy. She's at Fort Sanders right now, and might be for several days. Basically, her body's trying to deliver the baby and it's way too soon for that, so the doctors are trying to stabilize the situation. THe baby seems okay right now -- she's just under two pounds and looks great in the ultrasound pictures.
More updates when I've got the chance.

my mom works in an ob and they can do amazing things now days. I am sending good thoughts her way, *hugs*, I hope everything gets better.

Ooh goodness. I've had friends in the situation before and sometimes all is well and sometimes all isn't. Vertigo25's baby weighed 1.5 lbs at birth I believe. It is a scary situation. I hope for the best, keep us updated.

Ah, jeez doctorthoss, all babies look cute in ultrasound.

Sending good thoughts too. Don't worry too much. I know a lot of us that were little ones. I made it at 2lbs 2oz.

Heyhey, Mom told me about the early leaving attempt by El Fetus. I hope she comes out without any trouble... Or stays for the next couple of months, then leaves. With no trouble, as well.

I too am sending good thoughts and wishes, i truely hope everything turns out great... I've lost a child before it really hurts... it's a pain i don't wish upon anyone... so i'm sending my best wishes and prayers.

Jenna was released from the hospital today. They did some minor surgery to stabilize things, and if all goes well she should be able to carry the baby to term. The docs'll be monitoring her closely, but so far so good.

If she is or goes on bedrest...let us know and we'll get together some magazines and other entertainment for her!
