Hey, I'm new on here, know a very...very few of you. But basically I'm looking into starting a band. Yeah, I know people come along trying this shit all the time say they want to start something then get a potato chip stuck up their ass and decide not to. But I'm damn serious I have quite a few rough ideas as this has only been floating around in my head for a month or so. But my idea is attempting to fuse rap(not new Nelly bullshit either)some of the rap I listen to are Pac,Bone,ICP,Twiztid, and random other songs I pay attention to.Ah shit lost train of thought. Anywho, fusing rap, industrial, psychedelic, and a tad bit of tribal percussion. So, if anyone is interested you can send me an e-mail,respond here, I don't really get to a computer except about twice a month so it might be a little bit before I respond. Ok, done rambling now.

Well,JC what I have in mind is something the rap fusion genre kind-of over looks the speed rap style is not really appreciated in the "pop" world(which is why BoneTNH was a one hit wonder) It's going to be a lot darker than say.... Linkin Park(how could it not be?) also the rap is just a cog, not the machine it's self.
Sorry if the blue was too hard on some of your delicate eyes, but it's pretty.

Since when are the Suicide Machines rap-related?
Perhaps you meant Suicidal Tendencies? They're a little more like that nowadays.

Uh, no. I meant The Suicide Machines...maybe more of the old stuff.
But, yeah that's what I meant.

Strange... Every Suicide Machines CD i've seen is either pop punk or ska. The earlier ones being ska, Destruction by Definition was definately ska (ska-punk), Battle Hymns had a hardcore song, the rest was all ska. The self titled one was mostly pop punk. This was their attempt at mainstream....they even had a video for Sometimes I Don't Mind. And then there's Steal This Record. Again, mostly pop punk, but a little stranger than the self titled one. I haven't heard their new one yet. I should prolly go pick it up.
Watch me overanalyze and criticize everything. Whoopie!
