WTF?!

Why is this MSN sign-on crap all over the site now... It only pops up when I'm on KG... corporate sponsonship? hacker/spammer maddness?! KILL IT!!! :lurkkill:

It's not us!!!

I'm assuming that the likely cause would be someone hosting an avatar on a site that is using the avatar to initiate popups. If I can determine whose image is causing it, I'll remove it.

It would be very helpful to let me know which threads are causing popups to appear on your system, as I use Mozilla and never see popups - but I'll keep an eye out for the blocked popup icon.

KnoxGothic.com does not use popup ads, and we have no intention of doing so in the future.

but i don't use msn. i'm not getting any pop ups, but i also have a blocker. i'll change my avitar just in case though.

actually i think it is me, i don't use msn, but i did publish pics on my computer to the web through some msn service provider. i changed it, and used a pic direstly from the site, no msn involved. i apologize for the pop up hell i have inflicted upon anyone.

Stormstress.....In Opera go to File / Preferences...in the window choose Windows / Pop ups / Requested pop ups only. That should fix it on your puter

Scrow... we got rid of Opera... it was slowing the system down 2 much, but thanx 4 the advice.

gwenhwyfar, could you PM me the picture URL that was causing this?

I want to see how the hell a popup was being sent through an image, if this was in fact the case; technically speaking, that shouldn't be possible.

it's prob. more likely to be some spyware from a site that you visited.
i recomend using a spyware detector like ad-aware 6.
but if it was the pic i wanna know how they did it too :-?
