Buttercup and I have been talking about this stuff quite a bit lately. I’m going to be starting on a couple of projects this weekend, and thought you folks might find these interesting:

The Craft of Handmade Paper[/url]: A Practical Guide to Papermaking Techniques by John Plowman

and

Making Journals by Hand: 20 Creative Projects for Keeping Your Thoughts, by Jason Thompson

Both books are among the best I’ve seen in their subjects. They both have excellent technique instructions, and samples that are a cut above the usual ‘crafty’ things in these types of books. The stuff in “Making Journals by Hand”, is downright artistic.

sounds like a lot of work... I'm pretty lazy and uncreative, but then that's why I have my journals online. That and I'm secretly an exhibitionist ;)

But, hey, if anyone has a book on mosaic tiling I can borrow, or if JaNell will let me kidnap her one day (after the sping thaw) to go to Home Depot to get stuffs, I'm all for that :D
