Graphics and Art Forum

Hey folks, I was looking around the board and noticed something... there's a forum for literature, one for recipes, storytelling, arts and crafts... but whats missing is a forum for those of us that express our creativity through images and artwork.
I understand that having a forum full of off-site links poses a certain degree of problems - such as a person leaving, grabbing thier images, and you've got threads with a bunch of dead links. But I still feel it would be valuble to have a single place to post things like scarecrow's Poser works, instead of just sticking them in the general forum - a place to post computer generated art, along with scanned in photo's, even things like the Sanctus photo's that turn up on occassion.
Theres my 5 cents, anyone else have any thoughts on the matter?

As it was told to me 'they' don't want anymore forums.
Thats why car talk is now in the Geek section.
And if I were betting I would suppose arts is going to the crafts section.
Yes arts aren't crafts, but cars aren't geek speak either.
I can understand there are enough sections, but I'd at least like to see the descriptive titles changed to be more 'encompassing.'

Ah, well that makes sense. More forums means more needed moderator time, which can get annoying Not to mention more tables in the database. As long as I know where to post that kind of thing, then it doesn't really need its own dedicated forum, but hey, I can dream
And yeah, was kinda wondering about the car talk in the geek stuff.

<sigh>
both new forum concepts are under consideration.
Please don't ask for them again, we're aware of the desire for them, and a decision will be made soon.
Really, we're not concerned about server load or database issues at this point, we're only concerned about the fact that the front page is already huge, and we don't want to make it any worse.
we do know there is a need. we're just not sure of the best way to take care of it.

As some of you may notice, this thread is now a bit shorter.
I'll point out that the #1 most important KnoxGothic.com policy is NO PERSONAL ATTACKS.
Please don't do that again.

Wow, if all my threads turn out to be this drama-inspiring I think I'm in the wrong business. Soap-opera writer it is!
Seriously though, I know where to post my links and whatnot now, so its all good. I do webpage design and administration, so I can respect the desire to keep a clear, crisp, and active page. Too many forums/threads and things thin out too much. Not enough posts in any of them for anything to seem very active.
I need to listen to that little voice in my head that says I don't need to stand out in a crowd, blending in is just fine
Thanks though, I'll be posting some art stuffs in a little while! =)
