It looks like everyone had a great time. I am sorry I missed it.

Stupid trip and die rock. I just couldn't find anything goth enough to go with the new purple catpaw print slippers I bought.

Oh well, maybe next time.

Oh and LOVE YOU MORGAN!

That is all, please continue.

Even though I'm a cynical bastard, I can still find something redeeming, and "beautiful" in 60% of the population. If you find someone ugly based on your opinion, then that is yours and no one can take that away from you. I, on the other hand, do not call someone ugly --no matter what they look like on the outside, because I've been called ugly myself. I didn't exactly appreciate it either. It wasn't a "warm fuzzy". The arguement here isn't who has a right and who doesn't, it's more that... even if you think they're ugly "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all" The arguement here is about tact, knowing that people have feelings and can not help the way they look.

I remember specifically telling a 40 year old man that if he didn't like the way I looked (which he made sure to point out), then he could pay for my plastic surgery. If he wanted to say I was ugly, then it was his fuckin problem.

So that's where we're left now, anyone you find to be "unattractive"....it's your problem. That's just who they are, that's what they look like. And until someone comes to me and proves it me that they are an ugly waste of human flesh...I'm going to think good things about them, and find the best in them.

I can think of a hand full of people who I honestly think are "ugly" people, but it has nothing to do with what they look like on the outside.

I would not consider this post drama, or part of an arguement. I'm simply stating my stance on it. thanks 8-)

I don't really want to go advertising other boards openly here... but if you really want to see the pictures you can PM me and I will send you a link. However, you must be a member to view the board, and you must be verified by an administrator. So just PM me and I'll give you the link. thanks

Sarcasm is good, horribly offensive and out of line suggestions resulting in absolutey no humor whatsoever...is bad..... 8-)

Vixey dear I love you too......

and I thought your pics were fantastic!

honestly about all this, where and what is the point in making people feel self-conscious? It's their own fault for letting a silly remark make them feel that way, however some people are very sensitive about things. I just don't like seeing people upset over things that could have been easily prevented. I'm sure that's how most everyone feels. I hope no one takes this a person attack or anything... just trying to maintain the peace.

hello - sorry it took me so long to post. just wanted to drop a line and let you guys know that me and Brittany had a absolute blast at Santus. really enjoyed DJing for everyone and hanging out. i'd also like to thank Bone for inviting me down. this definitely won't be our last Santus visit. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!

looks like Bone and Arkady will both be making more frequent DJ appearances at Salvation pretty soon. i'm sure they'll keep you updated on that info.i know i'm looking very forward to it!

also, if you mailed me via NashvilleGothic.com and i didn't mail you back - i had a slight problem with my mail box; so, a extra hug goes out to those of you i didn't get back with.

thanks again for everything!!!

Ok..I apologize to the global moderators for defending myself and getting personal in my replies.

If I had ignored it...things probably wouldn't have escalated. It's just difficult not to defend yourself against things that people misunderstand, etc.

When attacked..I defend myself tooth and nail...sorry if it causes you headaches.

But, I'm honest and I don't kiss ass and thats just me. Perhaps I'm just not KG material.

I like you just fine, but this is just based on rough observation. I respect everything you had to say, you give the world a bit 'o flavor. 8-) ;)

As one of the not-so-easy-on-the-eyes types, I did think about being offended by what I read here. But then I decided that anyone who has to keep physical beauty so high on their list of criteria for deciding who to hang with or think favorably of, isn't anyone I neeed to let offend me. I think I have alot to offer to the people I have relationships or interactions with, but if someone can't get past the facts that I'm short, round, and spotty, then we shouldn't waste each others time.

I don't mean to be inflamitory, but I needed to get that off my chest. I've worked long and hard on my self esteem, but it's still a fragile thing. The healthiest thing I could do was to write this. The worst thing would be to silently let it bring me down.

I apologize if this is antagonistic to anyone else. This post is meant more to be for anyone who paused to think, as I did, "Was that directed towards me?" That you, Sir D, for being a gentleman.

Back to the actual theme of the thread, Yes, Sanctus was, as always, a lovely time! I was very happy to hear the Nashville DJ, & glad we had lots of new faces & imported friends from Nashville & Asheville. I'm also looking forward very much to the 2nd for the 2nd anniversary of Sanctus. Looks like another sleepy Monday coming up! But it's worth it! :D

I wish...

I wish people could just get past the flesh and just love a person for just who they are. But we live in a imperfect world.

I agree with that.......

it's strange because the last guys I've dated I really never found THAT attractive on the outside, I liked them for their personalities and the conversations had. They were not perfect, but I would not have changed a damn thing about them. I think as long as the two people involved have a mutual "attraction", in some form or fashion, it should be fine. 8-)
