i agree with some of the parts that you said junkie. especially when you mentioned the persistant haterid part.
however, sometimes shyness can be overbearing to the person that has it. i am pretty sure that kit doesn't mean to be as shy as she is, but it just happens. i don't think that she tries to ignore people, i just think that she freaks out because she doesn't know what to say to them. and she might be extremely self conscious and she doesn't want people to think that she is weird or something.
derek and i have been hanging out with her for a month now, but it seems that she is just now getting comfortable with us.
we all have issues when it comes to situations, meeting new people, and trying to fit in. of course, to some "fitting in" shouldn't matter but to others it means a great deal. and some people just freak out. i use to be just like her, and in a lot of ways, i still am.
