i am going to go and find something more productive to do with my time... like masturbate.
i think everyone in the world would be a lot happier if they just masturbated every once in a while.
freud was right about something.
That a staggering cocaine habit can get you underage women? Hey it worked for him.

Here's the thing…
Every person writing on this thread is contributing to DRAMA… or whatever…
I don't understand this "drama" word… if Morgan expresses her opinion (and this is how opinion is spelled, by the way {not directed at Morgan}) it's drama, if JaNell inserts a rebuttal, it's drama, if recluse tries to moderate through sarcasm, it's drama.
I'm confused. What is this whiny drama shit?
I suppose if we aren't talking about the weather, or clothing, or funny links, it's DRAMA.
Look, I'm making "Drama."
Morgan's a big girl. So is JaNell. They can handle it. When did this board turn into a damn hippie commune?
I say, Duke it out. Just make valid, rational points. It keeps the intelligent amused.

I know, isn't it strange if you actually have a discussion or intellectual debate its "drama." If everyone isn't hugging and kissing each others asses its "drama." I believe it was JaNell who first inserted her word, "drahma" into this thread simply because she disagreed with my opinion, it meant I was causing the dreaded "d" word.
I stopped using the word so much a long time ago...I used to use it in reference to people causing unneeded theatrics, but then I noticed how everyone labels anything that riles people up as drama. In their definition, anything going against the status quo is "drama," and thus it gives it a negative connotation....
I have also noticed over the past couple years that those who use the word the most often and claim to dislike it the most are the ones with the most of it in their lives....lol.

I said that exact same thing like, two years ago at least, on here and on Xanga.
Glad everyone is finally catching up to me.

I know this is a little late but i would like to express my thoughts on this issue. Not the back and forth "drama thing. I agree there are big people involved and i guess since we live here we are intitled to our opinions. I know in my younger years 18 t0 22 i spent a lot of time at 11th street with my friends Lucky Laurel and Jackie. I really love the place. I must say I am sorry for Adam for losing his job. I don't know him very well myself but Richie my honey bunch holds him in very high regard. I also know that Adam is making one of my dearest freinds very happy at this time. I'm very sorry again for Adam losing his job. It is sad for me to say i haven't been to 11th street for a couple of years now. I stress the fact that it it not because of management of the facilities. To play devil's advocate, Lorreta has always been very good to me and I'm not going to comply with the whole christian, non christian nonsense. It should be about if you are a good person or not. Not who you pray to or not pray to. I will say in Lorreta's defense that when i was homeless the summer to fall of my eighteenth year loretta regularly gave me coffee and often a meal and did not say any thing negative of me sleeping in the shed behind the shop because she was worried about me being alone on the streets and being a girl. I would like to say the reason why i stopped going.11nth street was due to some very nasty things said by a member of our group who i will not name names because i am not that way. To make a long story short this person made fun of a person who had been going to 11th street for many years and was hit by a car. he was in a coma for a long time and almost died and since the accident has had some speech issue's. I stopped going there for i hate to say it drama issues. I still go to dance at the clubs but i did not want to go hang out with a group that could treat someone with a disability so shamefully. As i've later come again to realise not everyone in our group is so catty and Loretta though she has her off days is not the wicked which most might think. Basicly i'm saying the world isn't black and white it is pretty much all grey. So before everything is so final just think of all the aspects involved.

This is not about drama. This is about
Time Warp Cafe.
Gothlace and I just got back from having lunch their. If 11st Coffee House is going down.
Time warp Cafe is not a bad place to go to. They have great food, good coffee, pool table, games, and an older time feel to it. And the best thing about this place they sale MOONPIES

. I talked to the owner about the place. He said that they are open from 8am to 9pm and will be having some bands playing their soon. Sounds good to us...

I told a friend of mine recently I was avoiding Java because of the "hardcore" kids (not my kinda hardcore) that wear tight jeans, track jackets and have gauged ears. I went there on sunday and saw not a single one....plus they have food and a prettty tasty chai shake.
Plus, there is smoking inside on one side *gasp* for you addicts....
I heard the hardcore kids only come out at night...perhaps we could beat 'em down.

I would first like to begin by saying that I am proud that Hardcoregirl sticks by her boycotts. I have my own that I stick by, for my own personal reasons and understand when folks don't understand why I won't eat at a certain place or buy Proctor and Gamble products. Whether it hurts the business or not, I know that my hard earned money will not go into the pockets of any corperation that I do not support.
Last, I would like to say that if 11th Street closes, I will be saddened. I have some very fond memories of that place and will miss the best Tuna on the planet.

I'll be another to say how much I love and will miss Adam...
but...
it seems to me that some information has been left out-
The owner of the inimitable little coffee shop had been telling Adam for a few months, (I am a witness to this) that it would benifit him to go ahead an begin searching for another part or full time job. Also, I will not mention what, but their had been many complaints on his work ethics. Whatever. It happens- rumor had it he was getting burned out with the place and it began to show. Again, it happens, we have probably all been there.
Also, I dont know how many are aware of the fact that 11th st. lost 40,000 dollars last year- this is mostly from everyone getting kicked out of the candy factory. I know that 2 employees there are getting paid as one employee. Sure, sounds rediculous but it is all in an effort to help revamp the place.
lots goes on- loretta is not wonder woman nor does she claim to be perfect, if she did then i could justify having a problem with her. she, just like the rest of us, is living the only way she knows how, and I have seen her adjust, just as we all do when our eyes are open to other possibilities.
that place is special and unique not only because of the people that gather there but because of the uniqueness of the ownwers as well.
ok I'm done.
by the way... Jay, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your photos and if i can do anything about it they will be up soon. I had no idea they were yours either. Talent talent talent!!!!
